يسعى هذا البحث تحديد المقاصد الأخلاقية للضوابط الشرعية لعقد الزواج، كما يهدف إلى بيان الجوانب الأخلاقية للضوابط الشرعية المتصلة بانعقاد عقد الزواج والضوابط الأخلاقية المترتبة على انعقاد العقد. وقد اقتضت طبيعة البحث وصفها وفقًا للمنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وقُسمت على مقدمة وأربعة مباحث. جاءت المباحث على النحو الآتي:
-التعريف بعقد الزواج
-الضوابط الشرعية
- الضوابط الشرعية الأخلاقية المتصلة بانعقاد العقد
- الضوابط الأخلاقية المترتبة على عقد الزواج.
ثمَّ جاءت الخاتمة لتطرح أهم ما توصل إليه البحث من نتائج.

This research seeks to determine the ethical objectives of the legal controls for the marriage contract. It also aims to clarify the ethical aspects of the legal controls related to the conclusion of the marriage contract and the ethical controls resulting from the conclusion of the contract> The nature of the research required it to be described according to the descriptive and analytical method, and it was divided into an introduction and four sections. The investigations were as follows:

-Legal and ethical controls related concluding a contract
-Moral controls resulting from the marriage contract.
Then came the conclusion to present the most important findings of the research.
